My passion is pastel art.

As a Belgian artist, I paint with pastels because they allow me to capture light, colour, and atmosphere in a direct and pure way.

In my work, I search for the poetry of everyday life: a cup, a still life, an animal, or a landscape — simple subjects that become something special through light.

My pastel paintings move between realism and impressionism.

It’s not the perfect line that matters, but the recognition, the loose touch, and that small moment when an image comes to life.

As a Belgian artist, I mainly create pastel paintings of animals, still lifes, and landscapes — original artworks built up by hand, layer by layer, always with attention to light, colour, and calm.

I have been painting for years with handmade pastels that I create myself from pure pigment.

These unique pastels give my work its own character: soft transitions, warm tones, and a colour palette that fits my style perfectly.

By making my own pastels, I can create exactly the shades I need for realistic animal portraits, still lifes, and landscapes in pastel.

Light always plays the leading role — often it’s not the subject itself that moves me, but the way the light falls on it.

Whether you’re looking at a pastel drawing of an animal, a small still life, or an atmospheric landscape, my goal remains the same: to evoke a moment of quiet — a place where looking becomes feeling again.
